               Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs appeals to my life because he is the guy that invented the computer (but it looked a lot more different than it is today.) Also trust me I use a computer almost everyday, so that helps a lot. I would make a connection by, saying that I use a computer in school for Kidbiz, work, and our new Famous Americans project.  I think that it would be cool to be like Steve Jobs for a few reasons; one he is the guy that created the computer, two he is a very rich man, and three I wonder how he created it and that its cool that many people dream of things and maybe that was his dream, and that he made his dream come true. I think that is very cool.

Listen to AN INTERVIEW WITH STEVE JOBS

By Haley Larnder

Did you ever think that an ordinary guy could invent computers, plus more?  Well if you think that that it’s not possible then you’re wrong!  Steve Jobs is one of the many normal people that have invented something magnificent.  Even some of his inventions are here today such as, the Apple I, the Apple II, the Macintosh.   He also invented movies with Pixar, also Microsoft internet, and many more magnificent things that we use today.  Steven Jobs was born in 1955; in California but the part that he lived in was the Silicon Valley.  Steve was adopted as a small baby by Paul and Clara Jobs.   He was an only child.  Around the 1960s he hated school.   By this time Steve Jobs was in fourth grade.  He acted up toward his teacher.   One time the teacher got so annoyed of it, that she bribed Steve Jobs.  His bribe was, that at the end of every week he would get paid if he did all of his work.  He did so much work that he didn’t even go to 5th grade; he went right on to 6th grade.  Jobs dreams where to change the world, and invent things.  When Steve went to high school, he absolutely hated it. In fact he hated it so much that he literally forced his parents to move.  In the 1970s Steve graduated from high school. When he got a job, he met a boy five years older than him.   His name was Steven Wozniak, but Steven Jobs usually called him; “Woz.”   They soon became very good friends and they still are to this day. They also made some of the inventions together.  The latest thing that they made was the Ipad.  As Steve turned into an adult he married a women named Laurence , together they had three children.  But there was four children because of Lisa.  Lisa was from and earlier relationship.  Steve Jobs lived in many places such as; San Francisco; Palo, Alto California;  and Sunny Valle.  Well Jobs was working for Apple he got fired because, everybody thought that he was acting strange and being ridiculous. When he got kicked out of the Apple  his new job was Microsoft and Pixar.  Some things that were tough in life for him were, figuring out how to plan things, what parts he needs, and designing.  Other facts about Jobs; Over the next few years Jobs he spent another $50 Million dollars, developing his most advanced, cutting edge  computer animation.  Steve Jobs moved back to Palo, Alto California in the same valley he grew up in.  He then decided to move into a redbrick house, but he wanted to bulldoze the land next to him so that he could plant an orchard, because there wasn't a lot of fruit orchards left.  Steven Jobs is famous because he invented computers, movies, computer sites, Mp3players, Ipads, IPods,  and many more things.  Steve Jobs did make the world somewhat a better place because, he invented something that people always wanted, but no one knew how.       He improved life by, making the computer for children, himself, teachers, and everyone else.  I do think that people are happy by this contribution because I know that I am happy about it, and people (if they have computers)  they use them almost all the time because you always see people on them, playing games, messaging people, checking things out, and what not.  Also, yes we are affected by this today, because of course we are still using computers, and we still have them.  Most people didn't even know who he was and what he did.  I sure know it was news to me until I learned about him!
